Urgent Care Visits

With your Medallus Membership, enjoy the privilege of $10 Urgent Care visits, offering prompt and affordable care for situations such as sprains, minor burns, or the sudden onset of flu symptoms. This streamlined access bypasses the high expenses and extended waiting times typical of emergency rooms, covering essential services like X-rays for suspected fractures, EKGs for heart concerns, and treatments for common illnesses—all under a straightforward, flat fee.


Primary Care Visits

Your Medallus Membership also grants you access to Primary Care visits for just $10, ensuring you have a go-to resource for your ongoing health management needs. This includes comprehensive services such as routine health check-ups, management of chronic conditions like diabetes or hypertension, vaccinations, and personalized wellness planning. These visits allow for in-depth discussions with healthcare providers to address long-term health goals and preventive care strategies.


Primary Care Lite Visits

Leverage the convenience of Primary Care Lite visits through your Medallus Membership, available at the same affordable rate of just $10. Designed for quick, straightforward medical needs, this service is perfect for when you need fast medical advice, prescription refills, or basic health screenings without the wait for a traditional appointment. Whether it's managing minor health concerns, ensuring continuity in medication, or receiving timely medical consultations, Primary Care Lite provides an efficient pathway to care.


1. What does my membership cover?

A: The Medallus Medical membership covers urgent care, primary care, and Primary Care Lite visits for a $10 fee, including most in-clinic procedures at all Medallus Medical clinics.


2. Are there any extra fees per visit?

While most of your healthcare needs are covered under a flat $10 visit fee, which includes a wide range of services from urgent care to primary care and Primary Care Lite visits. However, there are a few exceptions where additional fees may apply:

  • Advanced Diagnostic Tests: While basic diagnostics like X-rays and certain lab tests are covered, more advanced imaging (e.g., MRI, CT scans) or specialized tests sent to external labs may incur extra charges.

  • Specialized Treatments: Certain treatments that require specialized equipment or external services might also have additional costs.

  • Prescriptions: The cost of prescription medications is not included in the visit fee. However, the consultation to obtain the prescription is covered.

We believe in transparency and will always inform you of any potential additional costs upfront, ensuring there are no surprises. For services that do incur extra fees, we strive to offer them at discounted rates to our members.

3. Can I add my family to membership?

A: Yes, Check with your Benefits Director for details.

4. Do you cover hospital or specialty visits?

A: The Medallus membership focuses on providing accessible and affordable primary and urgent care services directly within our clinics, including a wide range of medical treatments and diagnostic tests. However, it's important to note:

  • Hospital Visits: Our program does not cover hospital stays, emergency room visits, or procedures performed in a hospital setting. These services fall outside the scope of Medallus and would typically be covered by your health insurance plan.

  • Specialty Visits: While we offer comprehensive care that includes many services you might need, visits to specialist doctors outside of our clinics, such as cardiologists, orthopedists, or dermatologists, are not covered under the Medallus membership. We can provide referrals and, in some cases, coordinate care with specialists to ensure you receive the care you need.

Our goal is to serve as your first point of contact for healthcare needs, offering quality care within our capabilities and guiding you to the appropriate services for those needs beyond our scope.

5. Are prescription medications covered?

A: Medications aren't covered, but your visit for prescriptions is included.

6. What if I need an X-ray or lab test?

A: Basic X-rays and many lab tests are covered under the $10 visit fee. Some specialized tests may have additional costs.

7. Where can I find a Medallus clinic?

A: Visit our website or contact us for a list of locations.  We currently have 8 clinics within Utah.

8. What's not included in the $10 visit?

A: Advanced imaging, some external lab tests, and certain specialized treatments have additional costs.

9. How do I schedule an appointment?

A: Call your nearest Medallus clinic or use our online booking for primary care visits. Urgent care or Primary Care Lite does not require appointments.

10. Is there a limit to how many times I can visit for $10?

A: No, there's no limit. Visit as often as you need for covered services.

11. What should I bring to my appointment?

A: Bring your ID and mention you're a Medallus member to the receptionist.
